Alexander Sushkov
Artist about himself:
I do not consider my art to be something very serious. Moreover, I believe that the art ends where seriousness begins. Creativity is a game in many ways, and it is very important to me as an artist to preserve a particular bright and soulful sense of childhood. I need to feel the theme I work on as if it were some music. It may be either rock’ n’ roll or an organ fugue, we'll see.1955 /Moscow State Academic Art School in Memory of 1905 (1980) / solo exhibitions: Belarus (Gomel, Minsk, Vitebsk); Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov); Italy (Rome); Germany (Bad Wildungen, Ehingen, Ulm, Kissingen); Spain (Mallorca); Netherlands (Dordrecht, Amsterdam); United States (Houston).
